Why Dress Loud exists

Hi — I’m Darren. I run Weekender Brands Ltd from Reading, UK. Dress Loud is one of two stores we built; Dressed for it is the other. More on the parent group here.

The honest reason this exists: I’ve been to a lot of Big Weekenders, hen dos, stag dos, festivals — and the kit always sucked. Either the squad turned up in mismatched, last-minute Amazon t-shirts, or the “cheap printer” charged £25 a tee and printed the wrong name. So we built the thing we wanted: personalised tees + fancy dress that turn up on time, in the right size, with the right name, at a price the captain could justify to the squad.

What we promise you

Three things we won’t compromise on:

  1. If we get it wrong, we fix it. Misprinted name, wrong size sent, transit damage — we reprint at our cost. Full guarantee here.
  2. Squad ordering should save you money, not cost extra. Group discounts auto-apply at 5+ tees (5%), 10+ (10%), 15+ (15%). No code, no “contact us for a quote”, no minimum-order-quantity faff.
  3. Real humans answer emails. Hit hello@dressloud.co.uk and you’ll usually hear back within an hour during UK working hours. Not from a chatbot.

Who we’re not

We’re not a high-street chain. We’re not a licensed-event partner with Butlins, Pontins or anyone else — we’re an independent retail group making themed-event apparel. So when you see “Butlins Big Weekender” on the site, that’s us calling the event by its name; it’s not a co-brand or an endorsement. We say this clearly because the alternative (pretending we’re “official”) would be lying to you, and we don’t do that.

Where we ship

UK only at the moment. We’d rather get the UK service right than spread thin on international fulfilment. If you’re overseas and want what we sell, drop us a line — if it’s a recurring ask we’ll look at expanding.

What's next

If your event is on the calendar, you’ll find it on the departures board with a live cut-off date. Pick your event, kit your squad, hit the deadline. If your event isn’t there, email me — we’ll add it.
